What we do:
It is the objective of the NHMNA to bring us closer together, to
foster goodwill and friendship among the residents. We will
strive to promote and improve public facilities within and
adjacent to the NHMNA. We will strive to work with our city
officials, government officials and other civic organizations for
the general welfare of the residents. We will also stand up to
these same entities, to protect the community as the Association
deems to be in the best interests of the residents.

We currently have an Oil & Gas Committee. The O&G is
addressing the interests of this NA. First and foremost on the
list are the quality of life issues. It is the goal of the committee
to make sure that if a lease is made available to the residents it
covers all health and safety aspects of the drilling from now
on. It is not in the best interest of any resident to allow drilling
in the area if all concerns are not met. The money that you, as
an individual homeowner, will receive is nothing compared to
the harm that can be done to our area. That signing bonus and
royalty check will be long gone, but the effects of the drilling
will last for decades.

As a NA we will also receive any request for a zoning change
or a variance that is scheduled to come before the City
Council. By having that insight we can contact the residents and
get their perspective on the requested change. We can then
either protest or endorse it to the City Council.

On the links page you will find websites that will hopefully
help to inform you as well as answer any questions you may
have. If you do not find what you are looking for then contact
your BC or an officer.
